For the more serious golfer with official handicaps – Woburn Golf Club has 54 holes set in woodland located just 10 miles away, and has staged the British Masters and the Women’s British Open. Gullivers Land is a theme park perfectly suited for primary age children – located just 5 miles away.  It features rollercoasters, a log flume and water slides, animatronic dinosaurs (think Jurassic Park!), a NERF zone, a JCB zone, and an indoor water playground.   There are hardly any queues, and the little ones love it.  Book in advance for discounted entry. https://www.gulliverslandresort.co.uk

MK Theatre is a state-of-the-art theatre programming a variety of West End productions and a Christmas pantomime.   The Railway Inn is proud to have hosted many cast members for various shows at the MK Theatre.

The Formula 1 British GP is held annually at nearby Silverstone (13 miles away). It takes place in early July – and is by far the largest local event in the calendar, attracting some 350,000 visitors across one weekend.

Expect to pay a premium price for staying anywhere nearby on this weekend – as there simply isn’t enough accommodation in the vicinity for such a large influx of people.

Stadium:MK is a 30,000-seater football stadium, the home of the MK Dons. 

The Marshall Arena is a 5000 capacity event space situated within the stadium and hosts live music gigs from acts such as Chase and Status and Black Eyed Peas.

Xscape is situated just across the road from Intu, the central shopping district, which is home to nearly 50 of the most famous high street and designer shopping brands.
